I hope you are having a lovely Sunday. My apologies for posting this song so late in the day. It’s been a day of travelling and misplaced luggage!

Anyway here is Crodh an Tailleir translated as The Tailor’s Cattle!

It isn’t about cattle but mentions a tailor’s implements that he herds around his cloth! I quite like this idea of the tailor seen as a herder of stitches. The second verse is about the thousands of ships in the Irish Sea and how the composer wishes he or she was on one of them.
