Mairead nan Cuiread

Dòmhnall Eòghainn MacKinnon, Macanta Media created a video to accompany Mairead nan Cuiread.  In the song the composer is unhappy with Wily Mairead for sharing untrue information about her.  These untruths upset her so much that she finds it difficult to discuss, even with her closest family. She makes it clear that she and Wily Mairead are not equal in any way. Towards the end of the song she wishes a previous love interest the best of wishes.  Màiri is accompanied by Mhairi Hall on piano, Megan Henderson on fiddle and backing vocals, Ali Hutton on guitar and bodhrán, and Rachel Newton on harps and backing vocals.
